Reed White is the founder and President of Cellar Maker Imports, based in Calgary, Alberta. Reed has over 30 years’ of experience in the wine industry and if you know Reed, you will know that his passion in life is wine and anything that has to do with wine.
Reed is a WSET level 3 certified wine professional who has directed wine programs for international 4 diamond hotels and restaurants and has also worked in wineries throughout the Okanagan Valley. Reed has been working in the wine distribution business for over 17 years and in 2017 channelled his passion and expertise to launch Cellar Maker Imports Ltd., which has quickly grown to a highly successful, well-respected import Company of boutique wines, spirits and liqueurs in Western Canada.
Reed takes a hands-on approach when it comes to wine production as well as the business side of the wine industry. This has taken him to many wide regions and wine expositions around the world including Australia, France, Germany, Greece, Spain, Italy along with California, Oregon, and Washington in the United States and both the Okanagan Valley and Niagara region in Canada.
When Reed is not enjoying a beautiful glass of wine with his wife, daughter and GSP, Lulu, on his sunny patio in Calgary, you may find him on one of our many beautiful ski hills, out on the course golfing or coaching a local youth sports team.
